Accessibility

In the Hague Historical Museum you will discover the history of The Hague. We do our utmost to be able to welcome every interested person.

Wheelchair accessibility

The museum has a special entrance for the disabled. This is the green door under the museum steps. We ask you to ring the bell at the intercom. A member of the museum staff will then help you.
The museum has an elevator and a disabled toilet. These are all suitable for wheelchairs, rollators and mobility scooters and can be used independently.

Resources

You can borrow a wheelchair for free at the information desk. Would you like to reserve a wheelchair prior to your visit? This can be done via info@haagshistorischmuseum.nl or +3170364 69 40.

Free entrance for escort

Visitors who find it difficult to visit the museum on their own may bring an escort. The escort is admitted free of charge. The escort ticket is only available at the ticket desk. Please report to one of the museum hosts in the entrance hall upon arrival. They will be happy to help you.

Assistance dogs

The museum is accessible to visitors with a assistance dog, if it is equipped with a harness.

Hearing impaired

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer special facilities for the deaf and hearing impaired.
